Syracuse, NY/London, England — Two posts in one day? Yes, I couldn’t help myself.
I was reading over today’s New York Times online when I stumbled across “Beleaguered Bookseller Knows Whom to Blame: Oxfam,” by Michael Kimmelman. The photograph used in the article is of the Oxfam bookstore I volunteered at over a year ago when I was studying abroad in London. My professor and friend Scott Bradfield helped me get the position. I stocked books, priced comics and chatted with customers. Here’s the picture from the article:
