Syracuse, NY — My professors at Newhouse think it’s a good idea for aspiring journalists to write with noise in the background. Why? Because news rooms are loud. When I write I like to have 30 Rock on. Today I watched the season 1 episode “Hard Ball” (Netflix everyone, Netflix).
In this episode, Jenna Maroney makes a fool of herself during a guest appearance on “Hard Ball.” On live television she endorses Hussein for president instead of Barack Obama. That reminded me of an earth friendly card I bought at Urban Outfitters in Buffalo.
