Syracuse, NY — This weekend the six finalists were in town to interview for the Newhouse Minority Fellowship. Lyndra and I gave them a tour of the school and took them out to dinner. Last night we enjoyed some eclectic Italian cuisine at Gentile’s. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was sublime. Ms. Velasquez, Ms. Williams and Mr. Kyle “ESPN eat your heart out” Leach also joined us. I was a little disappointed that Gentile’s had no connection to Syracuse’s premier sausage factory, Gianelli’s.
The whole weekend was a lot of fun. All the best to Angela, Jennifer, Mia, Jillian, Alicia and Lorenzo. Newhouse would be proud to have you all.
